5 signs your website needs a refresh

By Nourou Dine Chabi Boro 2 min read

Your website is often the first impression a new customer gets. Here are five signs it may be time for a refresh.

1. It's hard to use on a phone

Most people will look you up on their phone. If they have to pinch and zoom to read your hours or find your phone number, many will give up and call someone else.

2. It loads slowly

A slow site feels broken. Large images and old code are the usual causes, and both can be fixed.

3. Your information is out of date

Old prices, past events or a service you no longer offer make visitors wonder if you're still in business.

4. Visitors can't tell what you do

Within a few seconds, a visitor should know what you offer, who it's for and how to contact you. If your homepage doesn't answer those questions, it needs work.

5. It doesn't bring in leads

A website should help you get customers. If nobody ever fills in your contact form, something is getting in the way.
