What to put on your small business homepage

By Nourou Dine Chabi Boro 1 min read

Your homepage has one job: help the right visitors take the next step. Use this checklist to make sure it does.

A clear headline

Say what you do and who you do it for, in plain words. Skip the slogans.

One main action

Pick the one thing you most want visitors to do, like calling, booking or requesting a quote, and make that button easy to find.

Your services, briefly

List your main services with a sentence each. Link to more details for people who want them.

Proof that you're good at it

Reviews, photos of your work and short case studies help visitors trust you.

How to reach you

Phone, email, hours and service area should be easy to find, on every page.

Check it on your phone

Open your homepage on your phone. Can you find all of the above in a few seconds? If not, start there.
